The Temple of Fine Arts (TFA) in association with Annalakshmi on the Swan and The Bell Tower, organised the Swan Festival of Lights in October this year.

This two day event, from 17 – 18 October 2008 (Friday and Saturday) explored the universal theme of light whilst showcasing the best in West Australian multicultural performing arts. Some of the cultural groups being represented at the festival included Indian (performances by TFA), Chinese (Chung Wah), Spanish (Puro Flamenco), Ukrainian (Roztiazhka Ukrainian Cossack Dancers), Capoeira (Bantus Capoeira), Aboriginal Traditional Dance (Gya Ngoop Kobori Group), Dragon Dancers and fusion music group Mukti.
